In the same way Pegasus pioneered the digital manufacture and design of 3D custom CAD CAM orthotics, Pegasus was also the first custom orthotic laboratory in the UK and Ireland back in 2016 to adapt, develop and pioneer a new form of digital 3D foot scanning technology for the next generation of 3D foot capture.

Using a structure sensor camera mounted on an iPad and the Pegasus 3D footscan APP our software will capture a collection of infrared laser projection points from the plantar surface of the foot and in turn, transmit the digital foot file directly to the lab for processing.

Pegasus3dfootscan can provide the practitioner with a low-cost, portable, wireless, true 3D scanning option that facilities instant foot and prescription data transmission.

The scanner can not only capture true 3D plantar foot data but can also capture the skin of the patient’s foot allowing for a more precise locating of accommodations and additions that are often required for certain foot pathologies.
